Sessions are 20-30 minutes each. Most presentations will be conducted more than once during the workshop.
Cub Camping
Learn many of the basics of camping with Cubs and how to incorporate fun activities into your Pack’s preparation for
their family-friendly overnighter. Get the new 2008 Cub World CD, complete with orientation guide, themed program
helps, slide show and maps.
Raingutter Regattas, Space Derbies & Cubmobile Races
Supplement your Pack’s summertime program with one of these traditional Cub activities. Learn all about low-cost
options as well as fully equipped major events. You might even try your hand at racing!
Classic Games & Belt Loops
See the games in action and learn how to set them up. Marbles, Chess and Disc Golf will be presented. Be sure to
include this fun recognition into your program.
Shooting Sports & Gun Safety
Check out creative ways for your Cubs to enjoy an INDOOR range and practice their safety skills before their
OUTDOOR activity. Make a rubber-band shooter and take home patterns for rubber-band guns and fun targets.
Outdoor Cooking for Cubs
What do wire hangers, large tin cans and heavy-duty foil all have in common? They are all elements of Cub Outdoor
Cooking! See easy, inexpensive ways presented to help your Cubs ease into camp cooking.
Fishing for Everyone
Find out what resources for supplies and locations are available to your Pack or den to help your Cubs have a great
fishing adventure. Try your hand at casting and see how to modify exercises for the indoors.
